About Us

Joining Our Family of Faith

We invite you to establish a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ by accepting His grace and forgiveness. We also welcome you to become a member of Pelham Road upon your receiving the forgiveness of sin, or upon your testimony of a previous faith experience in another church.

Our desire is to assist you in finding a meaningful relationship with God. We welcome all whom God sends our way and invite you to come and join our family by coming forward at the invitation at the close of our worship experience.

Pelham Road Church has classes for all ages that meet at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. The following is a description of the Bible Study classes. We are not concerned about age ranges. We prefer people find the class they like, and the teaching style they prefer. Find the place that best meets your needs!

Our College and Beyond Class provides our youngest adults the opportunity to explore faith and seek the truth in a non-threatening way. This informal Bible study is centered around discussion of current issues of faith. FLC 205

The Younger Adult Class is for people age 18 and up single or married. This is an extremely discussion driven class. There is a ten-minute intensive look at the Scripture, and discussion follows. The class considers how the scripture relates to our everyday lives, work, relationships, family, children, community, and faith. FLC 210

The Young Adult Class contains both singles and couples. Here the Bible intersects with the questions of young adulthood; Do I need to change careers? How can maintain my faith in such a harsh world? What values do I pass on to my family? Plus many more. FLC 206

The Median Adult Class consist of disciples from their late 30’s to late 40’s. This class has a meaningful lesson followed by reflection and discussion. Fellowship and prayer time are also a meaningful part of this community. FLC 209

We offer two Adult Classes. Each class is similar with bible study. Prayer time and regular fellowship. Yet each is made up of a unique group of people with unique teachers who have their distinctive way of teaching. Another thing these classes hold in common is they take the scripture seriously but they don’t take themselves too seriously. FLC 203, 204

We also have two Senior Adult Classes. One class is co-ed and the other serves women only. Both classes care deeply about each other and they enjoy studying the bible together and discussing its life applications. FLC 101 and Education building 101
