Pelham Road is “family friendly.” We believe in this hectic world, families need time to spend together, and church activities should not pull you apart. We offer Sunday school classes for children and on Wednesdays nights after supper children go to M&Ms, Music and Missions. Throughout the year, our children’s minister, Amy Taylor, plans a few family friendly activities. The annual “Old Fashioned Easter Egg” is a favorite. This past Christmas, the children and parents gathered and built Gingerbread houses. Not quiet like the Grove Park Inn, but fun was had by all.
During worship, we have a nursery. Yet in keeping with our “family friendly” spirit infants and children are welcome in worship. There is childcare provided during worship up for children up to first grade. You know your children best, so you do what is best for them.
